Love is love.

The model from the first "Pride" and several other friends suggested turning the idea into a series, so here we are! B., my first model, asked several friends to be involved in the series, and everyone agreed to meet as a group at my studio for reference photos. A's Gothic beauty was a joy to paint, and her "Revenge" hooded sweatshirt dictated the feel of her painting. She's smiling fully in most of her reference photos, hands held demurely in front of her, but I was drawn to the casual boldness of her closed smile and pocketed hand--they're so perfect with that shirt!
