I've a long-standing iced coffee vice. I don't drink or smoke, but I've supported many a barista through the years. One such barista, B., became not only a model for my art but a true friend. I was already debating a fox coffee design when he gave me a fox-themed gift for Christmas, so we'll blame this one on him!

Kitsune is both the Japanese word for any fox and also the name of shape-shifting fox spirits in Japanese folklore. Kitsune are equally mischievous and benevolent, with their many tails (up to nine) reflecting their supernatural power and wisdom. I've wanted to paint a kitsune for literal years--my thanks to B. for the excuse!
