I'm always happy for any excuse to indulge in my obsession with Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, and the t-shirt design for my college's Langauge, Literature, and Communication Arts department proved the perfect opportunity! The mad trio decorated the back of the shirt, while the "Eat Me, Drink Me, Read Me, Write Me" ensemble was on the front left-hand side. Granted, there was some slight controversy brought on by the "Eat Me" donut, but I meant it as a reference to the "Eat Me" cakes in the book--my professors are the one's who twisted it otherwise!

A'few years after I drew the first design, the department invited me to create a shirt for the English club's Valentine's Day reading party, or "Love Slam." As the club's name was Sigma Tau Delta, the resulting initials couldn't be helped and, in fact, became the group's favorite marketing ploy. As if the Mad Hatter didn't have enough problems....
