For the record, some of the brighter whites were lost to scanning. I had to scan Caesar in pieces, and he wouldn't flatten completely against the scan bed.
Gaius Julius Caesar (13 July 100 BC– 15 March 44 BC) was a brilliant general, a savvy politician, and a notorious ladies' man who was sensitive about his receding hairline. My favorite bust of Caesar, while not the one I used, has inlaid crystalline blue eyes, as he is said to have. That bust, however, shows him as a rather old man. I wanted to capture the general that an army would follow without pay and against their own home city, while chanting for the enemy to hide their wives from their commander.
