The main problems with intaglio printing are the chemicals used to etch the image onto the plate. Sometimes they do exactly what you want; other times, they completely trash your piece. I was hoping to have the finished version of this look like a time-battered relief, and gods alive, it actually does!:) This particular version of Isis is based on a relief of her from the cenotaph of Seti I at Abydos.
